my son has one of the RNLI lifeboat ( tyne class I think ) models that are in all the toy shops, ebay etc. One of the external motors has siezed and will no longer peform on the pond! I met a modeller who remembered an article about refitting and improving the model ....he thinks about 18 months ago.
Can anyone point me to the publication and article as it would be a shame not to do something with this nice little model.
