mast lights
« on: November 24, 2007, 09:17:37 am »

hi guys , i am on the look out for some lights for my new tug .
I had some before and cant remember who made them they are 3v and have their own clear covers and replicate what you would see on the real ships .
They came in a pack of 6 . i think they may have been graupner but cant be sure .

Daz,

Have a look at https://shop.graupner.de/webuerp/servlet/AA?wgr=43&SessionCheck=4711&language=en

Type in light in search box. This should give you all available options from Graupner with part no's.

Terry.

Real ships lamps were not made completely of brass, they were made of copper plate with brass fittings.

I used some of the brass turned lamps as above for my coaster navigation lights but I painted them with copper paint before the top coat of red and green and finally scuffing the top coat carefully to reveal some of the copper beneath.
