Stavros,
Hmm, really shouldn't be a problem assuming all receivers are the same (AM/FM/PCM/whatever).  The 'other' thing to check is to see which of the six transmitter channels is received by which receiver channel.  Channel 1 on the receiver may not be channel 1 on the transmitter, so see if any of the other channels make the receiver's channel 1 respond.  (Don't ask me why, I have no idea, but I've had it happen before.)

PS - Banging the @#$ thing with a hammer sometimes helps...  ... on second thought, don't do that.

Nervous breakdown no you?ll be fine? ?first of all the two channel you cannot get an FM receiver on 2 channel (your 6EXA is FM) so you will have to go to at least 4 which is the minimum FM Futaba do there are 3channel FM receivers but they are not reliable with Futaba and as such it might be better and cheaper to install an entire 2 channel set on AM or there are some good Futaba compatible receivers on the market. The 4 channel operation you need well that is simply either a Futaba 4 or one of the compatible ones and then with either swapping crystals from receiver to receiver or having extra you will be away it should be as simple as that so not to sure whty you cannot get the 4 working at least may be more than an email post required to work out ? ?

Yes that woiuld explain your problem ACOMS/ Futaba. The 2 channel is not going to work full stop. The acoms RX (even if the 4 is FM) is not very comapatible with Futaba
