Post by: Martin (Admin) on June 01, 2008, 06:57:29 pm
Via email to Mayhem....

Hi
I Thought you might like to see my Dickie conversion, I built a new wheelhouse and mast from scratch, i also re-engined and radio, also new steering and fitted a bow thruster.  She is now my club's rescue boat in the event of a breakdown....

Fine looking BOAT: O0  Sure would like to see some pictures of your “re-engine” and your new steering and bow thruster.   I have never seen a bow thruster on a Dickey Tug yet.  What type of rescue method do you use?  I have been sitting on two Dickey Tugs for 2 or 3 years now waiting to convert them.  I guess I can be called an old procrastinator.   Thanks Ralph1937 :)
