Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. It had to happen of course but I did think it would be from the Far East. Is this the beginning of civilisation as we know it?????

You provide the cash I will build it Martin :D :D

They are a model of truckable pushboats, which is what the springer tug is based on. The look good but they are made of styrene, not sure how robust that would be.

...and I think the term is Springer not "springer" . Now that the "Electrolux" has arrived we mustn`t call all vacuum cleaners Hoovers ::)

-
Someone should buy one of these.. copies.. >>:-( and do a full build report..
Followed by some sea trials against a regular Springer..

...Hi Guys...
I,ve Said it Before...A good name would be "CHOCOLATE ANKLES" due to the fact if it gets into a tackle with a "Real Springer" it will just snap...
The sides & ends of Wee Johnny,s Damen Springer are made of 12mm Pine Shelving from IKEA... I think thats a wee bit tougher than ABS Plastic...
I tried to buy 2 of the ABS hulls on E-Bay but the seller wouyld,nt answer my mails...
I was going to use them with the 2 tops that I have from Dickie Tugs to make wee boats for our wee pals from the local school to play fetch the ball with...
...Best Regards...Norry...
