One of these:
Halmatic M160 Class fast patrol craft
The reason being, I have a good feeling that that hull is from, or the same as, the Model Slipway Shamrock.
The Model Slipway version is a newbies "semi scale" sort of boat ( my first build without my old man in fact - worked out pretty well )
You could do a "proper" scale model of one - lots of pictures on the internet and Halmatics were willing to send me the plans and lots of photo files for the real thing.
I seem to remember that it was originally designed as a tender or something more merchanty than a patrol craft - so maybe there is a civilian option as well?

Or you could make it look like a Kyosho Atlantio cruising yacht.......

Hi,
I have a hull that looks exactly the same except its 36 inches long and about 13-14 inches wide. Mine has a flat section in the keel centre, the chine arrangement is exactly the same. the concave sides and convex transom look the same. The deck is more of a sport boat however with a larger hole at the front and a smaller one at the rear.
I don't have a pic at the moment as Im having a mould pulled off it. the original hull came from a fibreglass pool manufacturer?
Any further Ideas on what the original hull is?
Regards
Nick

Looks alot like a 'Donzi' speedboat hull.
I had the full size version years ago ;)

I'd go with a fast patrol craft or fire-boat of some description. Nice fast looking hull with clean lines, its a pretty good starting point I'd say, but those two would be my choice.

I think a nice fishing trawler with working radar and things , that will look good on the water! ;D

Somebody mentioned to me that it looks like a Haines Hunter ski boat hull, despite being an iconic brand in Australia I haven't seen one like this hull?
Would be strange however as yours has turned up over there, there must be a commercial kit hull that is similar?

Hi
It looks to me, like the model used by a fibreglass comany as "a how to demonstration"

I disagree John ,bow totally wrong shape for a trawler maybe a fast creel boat/potter/netter rather than trawler forrard wheel house as you say working radar a gate at the back for self shooting and a roller over the rail like a lot of newer style vessels
