Is ACS Engineering still operating?
Their website does not seem to have changed for ages.
Still saying website undergoing a complete update.

It's been like that for a while Bob, have you tried ringing them?
I haven't heard that they have stopped trading but I think, as with a lot of others in this business, they find it hard to keep up with the orders. If calling fails drop them an old fashioned letter!!

BunkerBarge,
The reason I was looking on their website was for a phone number but there isn't one. Hence my question.
Anyone know their phone number or address?
Bob.

Bob,
I have had a communication this morning from another person in the trade who has informed me that he does believe that ACS is winding things down.
I think a letter may be the best bet to see if they are in a position to be able to help but I think the chances are slim. If there is neither a phone number nor an address on thier web site then I'm afraid I think you will have to start to look elsewhere for your requirements.

Bunkerbarge,
Thanks for the info. Doesn't seem much point in dealing with a company that is not likely to be around much longer.
The impression about six months ago was that they had so much work that they were not able to take any more orders.
Sounds a bit like JJC!!

Hi Bob,
I have only just joined the Forum, so sorry for the late reply!
Having previously bought from ACS Engineering (August 2006) I can advise you that the address at that time was - 2 Cairndubh Cottages, Cairnbaan, Lochgilphead, Argyll, PA31 8SQ. Telephone - 01546 603849, email [email protected]
Don't know if this helps, but I would be interested to know if they are still trading for spares etc.
Regards,
Graham V

ACS have unfortunately, through no fault of their own, had to close down production for the time being.
Hopefully they will be back at some time in the future.
