Title: Is it possible to connect two motors to one speed controller
Post by: uboatbuilder on August 05, 2006, 08:54:11 pm
Has any one done it, and could you tell me how? Also is it possible to connect two battery packs to one speed controller? Any help will be appreciated.

If you have 2x 6v motors and a 6v battery, you will want to wire the 2 motors in parallel (+ve to +ve, -ve to -ve on the motor terminals). If you have 2 3v batteries you need to connect them in series (+ve to -ve) to make 6v. If you have 2 6 volt packs, you need to wire them in parallel to end up with a 6volt supply but twice the capacity.
