Hi everyone, New to this site and need some help. Does anyone have a copy of the hull plan of the Hibernia or Avenger? Try as I might I cannot find one. I made a model of the Moorcock some years ago and thought about using that but it just does not work. Help please.

Hi Madabout, the Avenger and Hibernia were very similar in hull SHAPE but differed in size a little,
Dhulia/Moorcock 113'6"" x 28'8'' x 12'6""
Avenger/Hibernia 118'5" x30'1" x12'
so with a little adjustment you should be able to adapt the plans you have to suit,
also in later life 1975 they were both fitted with Towmaster Gear ie Kort and triple rudders.
the wider hull and extra length accounted for the fire tower and extra pump engines in the ER as well as a longer main engine 9cyl instead of 8'
I have posted a picture of the avenger model that I made using a modified moorcock hull.
If I can help you please send a message and i will try to help.
all the best George.

looks a very nice tug, and in my humble opinion what a tug should look like.....is there a kit available to build the Hibernia/Avenger does anyone know?
