Boy that thin looks great O0, you did a real nice job on it. O0 I read your blog and you said that you could not get Sterno over there, you might want to check with a local food caterer as it is used as the heat source under warming trays to keep the water hot. In this country when they have a banquet away from a normal restaurant say in someones back yard the caterers would set serving trays on tables with cans of Sterno underneath to heat the water in the serving tray. Sterno is a pink jelly like fuel substance and we can get in several sizes from a little 4 or 5 oz can to a 5 gallon bucket depending on your needs.

On a note for your steam engine, boil your water first at home so you don't have to use as much fuel to get up to a working pressure. I have a Live steam railroad locomotive and before I go out to run I will boil distilled water and put in my thermos boiling hot. It will not be at a boil when I put it in the locomotive but will still be in the 180 plus degree range and does not take very long or very much fuel to get up to a full steam that way.
