Does anyone know how to set up the twin props properly on the Robbe jet ski?
They seem to clash with each other on normal running and will rip off a prop if you dare to try turning....any help appreciated. ::)
-
Not a lot of help but mine is set up as per the build instructions and no problems at all.
-
Erh...I dont have the build instructions¬ :(
-
Heard of that snag before. Try less servo throw or decrease rate on t.x.
-
That's the one with two 'outdrives' isn't it? - have you got a link missing between the two, they shouldn't strike each other unless the turn angle is too high or there's too much play in the hinge points.
-
The threaded link between both drives is there so its not that.
If I reduce the throw I would less a good bit of manouverability I think.
I would like to see what the setup booklet says....anyone willing to forward a scan???
-
I'll did out the manual and scan the relevant pages, it'll be tomorrow if that's ok

That would be fantastic Tester!
Please dont put yourself out at all, whenever you get around to it will be fine. O0

Just read it Richard and the horizontal/vertical alignmeny method they suggest is what Ive done myself, I do notice the drives are rather more splayed than mine,I'll also try to limit servo throw a little. O0
-
It might be worth checking the pushrod length between the two drives, should be 41mm tip to tip

Tadaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! O0
Problem solved sir!
Sweet as a nut, nothing touches anything its not supposed to...anywhere.
Lets se what tomorrow and 9.6v brings shall we? :D
