Hi i am new to the boating world so warning you all now for some daft questions appering. I am used to electric, nitro cars and trucks, me and Lee who joined a few days ago decided we would try boats as they looked fun. i just brought a Capricorn 54 speed boat for some instant fun once i get used to it a bit i think it will go brushless and i really like the look of tug boat kits so think i will get 1 of them soon once i understand things a bit more.

Welcome Rich, and don't worry there is no such thing as a daft question. Take things at your own speed and don't rush and you will find it a most enjoyable hobby (all consuming really) And remember this forum has a wealth of knowlage, all you need to do is ask, someone in Mayhem land will know the answer :)

O0 Hello Rich, and welcome to the mad world of model boat building. I've been doing it for over 30 years now but I'm still learning and you'll get plenty of advice here so don't be afraid to ask "daft" questions. The only stupid question is the one you didn't ask!!
A tug kit is probably a good starter model, as you'll get a lot of experience building it and sorting out the inevitable problems of things not going together as they should. Look forward to seeing some more posts from you.
Regards, Peter
