Title: HMS Portland
Post by: rem2007 on October 10, 2008, 10:58:13 pm
This type 22( I think) frigate is now anchored off Torquay for the weekend and I have booked tickets to visit her on Sunday afternoon with the lad. I saw her at anchor on my home from work this afternoon and she looks very impressive at a distance. Tours will be taken from the quay by liberty boat hourly and is free of charge pre-arranged through the Tourist Information Center.

Ill post some pictures Sunday evening pending the footy on the telly. Or ice Hockey! :-))
