As you say Bernhard, a fascinating site with some interesting ideas.  One small point (aimed at the website, not you!) - AFAIK Lupo di Mare translates as Sea Wolf rather than Sea Dog, though with a weather beaten boat like that dog might be more appropriate  :-)
