I have been building for a while but nothing like what most of you here produce. I just want to say thanks to everybody martin for having the site and all the helpful posts. I have learned more here in a few weeks than I have in a long time. Thanks

I'm glad you're finding Mayhem helpful, hazegry, I have too, and many others like us. If you ask a question, you're almost certain to get an answer from people who have "been there, done that" in terms of boat modelling.

Peter.

Via email to Mayhem....

I have seen this website for the first time today following a conversation with Ron Dean earlier on .

Its like a sign showing the way to a honeypot to a starving bear !

I am researching a flower class Corvette kit for a member of the family and was asking Ron about converting a Revell kit to R/C and he guided me here ......bless him .

I have recently built  HMS MANXMAN from deans kits and thoroughly enjoyed it but always wondered if there was anywhere to "ask questions" from like minded people other than the local club
who have been a mine of information and help........but lack the detailed help I have seen whilst looking at the HMS Snowberry section...

I have been chuckling to my self so much at the banter between members that people keep bringing me biscuits to eat [ I'm Diabetic] as they think I have lost the plot !!!

Thank you all for such an amusing and enlightening evening....... and I will be putting this site on my favourite's list

Ivor

The boy stood on the burning deck....

Or, if you are Australian, "There was movement at the station....". For those non-Aussies, that is the opening line from A.B. (Banjo) Patterson's iconic Australian poem, "The Man from Snowy River".
