Big bargain @ B & Q just now. 3 rolls in pack covers 5.4 meters, 200mm thick, 4.5 r value. £3 per pack. I have just bought enough to do my loft for £27. The youngster behind till made a mistake with price undercharging me by £9 on one visit. It's some kind of deal between B & Q and British Gas. GET DOWN THERE QUICK as the stuff is flying out the door with tradesmen passing the word and going off with a pallet load at a time.

Thanks for that, been, bought and installed ---what a bargain :-))

Thanks for the heads up , got 5 packets. £15.00 BARGAIN. :-))

Nice one :} could only fit 6 on a cart so might go back this afternoon.
of course while I was out the meter reader man snuck over to leave me a 'you were out' card (ref postman thread)

I managed to stuff 3 packs in boot, four on back seat and one in the front on one visit. I can still feel the odd scratch and the stuff in my throat. Not looking forward to the installation one bit but I will have to bite the bullet as the shed is stuffed full of it.

Nows the time to do it! Not when its hot and sunny.
Rebuilt the ceilings in our house on summer. New insulation had to go it too. thow away painters overall, mask, goggles, gloves, 93 dec in the roof space.
I drank 12liters of water and still lost 5kg!!!

It may sound good to you lot, but I'm the poor B&Q van person that has to deliver all this cheap stuff.
The loft insulation is not too bad. It's the pallet loads of cheap laminate flooring that's killing me. I have to unload and carry it by hand.

Of course you realise the the normal RRP for this suff is £2.50 per roll but they couldn't shift it? {-) {-) {-)
Just kidding, ......honest!

Hard luck everyone in kirklees are getting lofts & cavity walls done free
