Title: Handy scale calculator
Post by: Captain Jack on April 23, 2009, 03:25:15 am
Here's a quick way to figure scale. Just type in the appropriate boxes, and the work is done for you.

For example: A forty foot standard lenght of drill pipe in 1/75 scale works out to be about 5.96 inches. Just what I needed to know to add some deck detail to my Salvirile AHTS kit.  :-))

Great for Starships too... Very Enterprising of him.

I do hope he's tested it properly though. %)

There's sufficient scales available to keep most modellers very happy. Fantastic, thanks to Jim :-))
