That is very impressive. I have seen similar done with a tug.....But that really shows the power in the model.. :-)) :-))

This was done with a tug at Alfold Charity Model Boat Show last weekend. But in the past the members of the Southwater Dabblers MBC towed a narrowboat along the canal at Loxwood, I am not certain but it maybe on Utube.

We did this the other day with Bill's small petrol tug with our big heavy rescue boat, with me in it :-))

I've pulled an aluminum rowboat around containing a rather robust passenger with one of my tugs. No problem. Unfortunately I don't think anyone got a picture.

Back in 1981 I built a pushboat using a trolling motor and pushed two jon boats with people in them.

In the rowing boat, my grandfather and grandmother, great Aunt and uncle and a fellow club member

Back in the day when U-117 was under construction, number one son, aged about nine then, sat in the bare hull and my old steam tug lookalike (a converted Bugsier tug) towed him and the hull on a lap of Princes Park lake in Eastbourne.

Aha found it , this was taken at the club at goole by one of the members of me in the recovery boat towed by my tug Brakengarth .
