Title: Decal Explosion!
Post by: Anchorboy46 on June 06, 2009, 10:06:18 pm
Painted my stack on my model boat and wanted to apply decals. One problem however. These decals are over 35 years old. They showed some slight visuals of cracking. I immersed them in water and ...Whamo! They all went to pieces. What now? Any repro decal companies out there? Anchorboy

Try BECC, I'm sure they'll have anything you need

Another supplier is Reade Plastics.

You will find contact details for appropriate traders in the Mayhem "Traders Directory".

Link to the directory at the head of the page and on the Home Page.

Roger

Thank you for your recommendation.

We are actually listed in the traders's directory as 'Reade Models'.  These days we separate our business activities into appropriate areas, Reade Models for our model interests, Reade Plastics for our injection moulding business etc.

All areas, including our electronics and CAD design interests are operated under our controlling Company, Reade Business Services Limited.

We are a major UK stockist and supplier of the original (and best) BECC flags, lettering, decals and lining products.

Regards

Malc

Try this link.

You maybe able to take the old decals and copy / reprint them on to new decal paper ??
