Can anyone of you really helpful chaps on the other side of the pond tell me if these photographs are of a Buick, and if so can you give me the model and the year.
If it isn't a Buick have you any idea what it is ?

American? Looks more like a Riley or Jowett to me. The bodywork is surely "Barker" who built Daimler bodies. BY.
-
Looks French to me. Delage, Delahaye or Talbot perhaps. Maybe with a body by Chapron or one of the other French coachbuilders.
-
Whatever it is, it looks like a very desirable motor car to me... I like its lines, a very nicely styled machine.
-
Probably not American then? It's the radiator grille that confuses me. But I'd still go for Barker. BY.
-
This is a Buick, it looks similar to me apart from the headlights.
Could these have been changed for an export model ?
-
Ooooohhh looks pretty damn close!
-
Certainly looks like it Dicky! Lamps and spare wheel different but other than that detail, which could be variable depending on the owner, I think you've got it nailed.
-
The headlights don't look european.
-
Hey Richard, I think this might fit the bill, a 1939 Buick Centuary. Look at the strips on the side of the bonnet. I think someone has changed the headlights in the past..... :-))....Smudge
