Title: I found these
Post by: fooman2008 on August 09, 2009, 04:25:19 am
I found a picture of a ship on uglyships.com and it reminded me of something...now here is is the question did the RN ever actually get rid of the HMS Argus (the flatiron)? I know they are not the same ship but with the dazzle paint there is more than a rexemblance!

HMS Argus paid off after VJ day Sept 1945 and stored at Portsmouth.

Dec 5th 1946 sold to Thomas W Ward and scrapped.
