John
-
Like DickyD, I've got too many boats and not enough shelves....but I'll probably build the tug boat "Craig" after I've finished my Armidale class patrol boat. So it will be a while before "Craig" gets started.

Caldercraft HMS Sir Kay - this will be my next project (and first with "proper" R/C!) after the USCG cutter is complete.
Billings "Calypso" - part-built kit, a chance bargain purchase on eBay (cost about £65 including postage), possibly my next project after Sir Kay.
Billings "Bohuslan" - old kit of a Swedish lake steamer, this is definitely a project for some time in future when my skills have improved, as the motor, rudder + hardware installation looks diabolically difficult.
1/64 V&W-class destroyer - scratchbuilt hull + deck with motor installed, a lucky car-boot find. This is a huge model and another "future project" as I really want to do it justice.
RTR "Atlantic Yacht" motorboat stripped down and rebuilt into an approx. 1/16 Fairey Swordsman - hull and deck work is complete, just the superstructure and details to do.
Also an assortment of "bargain" hulls picked up over the years, including a Deans HMS Grenville and a 1/144 Daring-class of unknown origin, the latter will probably end up as a static model as it's a bit on the small side for easy R/C installation.
-
I've got a Vosper RTTL to renovate, picking it up at the weekend, and I'm going to try my hand at one of those crazy little Springer tugs. ok2
-
Jokita HMS Victory - hull almost complete
Speedline 1:16 Severn Class Lifeboat -- 80 % Complete
Model Slipway 1:16 Tamar Class Lifeboat - Just started
Fletscale 1:128 USS Missouri - 25%
I'll work on lifeboats till winter sets in then it's Victory on the dining table!!!!
Missouri is on the back burner
I'd like to get:
Speedline 1:12 Tamar
Victory Models HMS Vanguard
Ken

-
1/72nd Revell Type VII for full Static Diving.
Ditto Trumpeter Seawolf.
Original Darnell Type XXI.
-
On a personal level, I'd hate to have a queue of "stuff". I find concentrating on one at a time is the only answer. TMBC have a few members who are always building more than one model at a time.....and none of them ever seems to get finished, When (when!) I finish the ferry, then I will have a look at some of the others to see which one needs a refit, and deal with that one only. Multiple choice only serves to confuse!. Cheers. BY.
-
An Imara kit still in its box which I'll start as soon as the weather gets too bad for sailing.
As some of you may recall it's going to be in the Perseverance version and I'm sending out the same old message again, "Any info on the Perseverance will be gratefully received"

Many thanks

I started this boat hobby just 2 months ago, and being a plastic model kit modeller since my younger days, I am starting this hobby with plastic kit too.
I am building the Airfix 1/72 Severn lifeboat now and have ordered the Revell 1/200 ETV Waker. Eagerly waiting for the Waker to arrive from UK to start the conversion to rc.
-
Still got to build sitting in the loft, MSW Aziz, MSW Drumbeat of Devon, MSW Shamrock, Models By Design (MBD) 1/16 Rescue Lifeboat (like FCB2, Mersey Class replacement), large RIB Ciaster Lifeboat, 5ft Super Yacht.
Got to complete yet, 8ft Container ship (on MBD 8ft supertanker hull), MSW Our Lass 2, Large Fishing Boat, Small Fishing Boat.
Plenty to keep going at! Dave. O0
-
Got my eyes open for a Drumbeat........ but best finish what I got started I guess....pity its out of production.
-
I had the very last kit. Was told by MSW earlier this year that they can still supply hull, plans and most of the fittings required for it. Would just need to build the superstructure. Not too difficult really? I may end up parting with mine at some point, been sitting in the loft for around 12 months, I just had a quick look then resealed it! Want to start it but keep getting sidetracked! Dave. :-))
-
Jackie did say it was finished now, but MAY be released as a semi kit... seen a few at exhibitions...looks a nice boat, just a bit more interesting then shamrock
-
I'd have a word with them. If I decide to sell mine I'll let you know first if you like? You're not too far away from me on the Wirral. Dave. ;)
-
Yea..keep me in mind Dave! I'll start saving now ;D
-
1/72 old corvette

should probably get photos of my other tug first as it's almost done but every day is rainy now and there's a mini-hurricane settling over the area >>:-(
-
The problem is not what I have waiting to be built but what do I build next?
