So who is going to this then.. Is it meet up at the Blackheath Stand as Usual.
...13,14 and 15 November.
Booked hotel early to save money and guess what, it not on those dates and hotel is not refundable.
Im after a 2.4 radio and less than £50 what you think Martin? {:-{
Sounds good! Remember, for your boat, you are after as many fully proportional channels as you can get for your money! :-))
I'll probably be there Saturday & Sunday.
Must get a new florescent Hawaiian shirt.... with flashing LEDs?
I've managed to sneak some money out of the 'Privy purse', so there's no knowing what I shall invest in this year.
Remember your photo skills - we'd like to see photos - wish list of certain models - tugs & detail photos, sounds like a fun event
spam sandwiches on the Luton And District stand, with.....beetroot salad, curry sauce piccalilly, salad cream, chillie sauce and anything else I can think of,,,,,,,,,,,but not all together at the same time, I have to think of who uses the little boys room after!
Guess I've been caught, better get to me before Mr Action does then {-) {-)Too late, Phil. I can smell it already %)
JUST TO HELP YOU SPENT THAT £20.00 note.
To save the £20 note, drop by my stand (Blackheath MPBC) and I will be more than happy to have a look, plus there will be many fellow Mayhemers / Boaters who's noggin's we can pick.
Excellent plan Barrie :-))
So all I have to do is sneak by Action, MMM, Models by design...........and all the rest who are eager to be part of the "£20-00 note" distribution {-) {-)
and the P100 you are referring to would be a ..............thing that a lot of people have been waiting a long time for.
you had better hope FLJ hasn't got to me first {-) {-)NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO No No
Be good to catch up again Bill (will you be bringing the long haired youth ?)
It's MINE, Grandad! Hands off!! <*<O just a little bit of his £20.00 note to buy a Beer!

Phil
If you wear your Llanberis hairpiece then I'm sure everyone will be fooled...............unless you put The Cap on top.
Anyroad, twenty quid would only get you a slice of the new main course.
P100 is coming................. 8)
FLJ
This P100 better not be a better version of anything I have just bought Dave. ok2Richard
.......thing that a lot of people have been waiting a long time for.
If I said any more I'd have to kill myself. :-X
FLJ
Incidentally anyone interested in a competition to see who has the most Action stuff in a single model.......
Wom
Hummm, now let me have a look in my Aziz........... O0
Well it seems that Action does speak louder than words :D
Yup its full :-))
At least judging by the demo I saw last night.
Its very easy to get around in a wheelchair or scooter, there are disabled parking bays near the front entrance (which has a ramp) and there will be parking attendants there to help you your scooter out. Drop by the stand and say hi :-)),
Do we need sunglasses for Martin's shirt this year?
So Martin's going as a member of the "Magnum PI" appreciation society, don't suppose he's got a tash as well ;D I on the other hand am going as a walking clock aluminated digital clock ha ha!

But the silly spelling mistakes on some of the notes about boats are good!! (one 8ft bot has a 4.5mm prop!!!!) But I think the Surface Warship and Lifeboat stands are both excellant. The friendliness of all the traders and exhibitors is great, and the general public are eager not only to listen but to share their experiances with you about their time either building boats or of actually sailing the real boat
Can't be the real thing wearing a single colour shirt. :police: :police: :police:You mean the one first spotted in a crowd round one of the stalls with his back to me? %) {-)
If anyone wants the edited highlights, here's my photos:

Especially the excellent French fishing boat. Breathtaking.

Hi Martin,
Nice to see you again, don't know what all the fuss was about re the loud shirt,
the mayhem brigade hav'nt seen my collection! I've plenty to rival the one you were sporting today !
The site I mentioned re your little George Turner Tug was "Phils Workbench" - some interesting stuff,
look at the bottom of the right hand margin Tomsk Tug - I think this was the one in your carrier bag.
looking forward, as ever, to the show pics. You are giving a great service to the hobby.
Regards Paul
our stand was within 10 feet of FLJ too, looks like business was good !- )
Hello,
Back home in Brittany!
I would like to thank the organizers for their kindness and dedication, and the modelers who have come talked to us! The English are nice people and very friendly! Martin is really very sympa! Thank's for your welcome!!!
I hope to return one day to another exposure in England.
Thank you for everything!
