Title: mountfleet 'danny boy'

Hi there I've just managed to persuade the wife to buy me the' mountfleet Danny boy' kit as an early Xmas present(i got a great price on ebay) and i was wondering if any one has built this kit and could give me any advice/tips before i start,many thanks cliff

Hi Greg,i havent given much thougt to that as it's my first big project,ive just started doing static models after being away from the game for a few years,so i don't know anything about powering a boat but i would like to try

Ah, as I thought, this particular section of the forum, though full of helpful people, is for steam related threads- perhaps the 'working boats' section would be more appropriate, and more inportantly lead to a more comprehensive advice group.
