Hi i'm looking for a good model of one i know Deans do one and fleetscale but are there any better ones out there?.
-
Well , I supply one at this scale for a PT boat . You can see this on www.johnrhaynes.com, shop JRH 687---maybe not the one you need .
-
HSL Mouldings also have one, along with various other weapons + fittings for Coastal Forces craft in 1/24:

Their website is a bit hard to read + navigate (at least I find it is!) but they do have a very extensive range of fittings, and the prices seem quite reasonable.

Thanks i'll check those out.

this was my first fitting a some time ago. its just made with K&S brass and bolts and a little soldering, the base was turned on a drill with a file.slots cut by drilling and a small file . you can now get some nice brass sights from John Haynes. look on the AUS PT boat site of John Drain site some nice guns there to make.
