Post by: Mankster on October 14, 2009, 01:55:14 pm: I have mentioned thiis somewhere else after someone asked. Its an Alhambra Hermalin 1/35 scale Type XXVIIC Uboat. Used a vented ballast tank dive system with a pressurised WTC as back up ait to blow the ballast tank as a fail safe and also used if you cant get the mast out of the water. Much like the Subtech kits with the Propel backup. Its a dry hull boat with slide out equipment tray (which is a intricate brass work design). Its made in Spain and I am pretty sure is now out of production. Though google brings up a page from a shop in the US that sells the kit for US$600. Neat little boat and ahead of its time.
