Title: Robbe Seawolf

Hi I am new and have just finished building the sub, harbour trials in the bath and had maiden voyage but could not get sub to dive.

I will need to adjust trim etc!

Any tips would be gratefully received. Pics will be posted later.

If the boat is above decks awash in surface trim, then put some more weight in it until just the top of the deck is visible. The seawolf should then dive with ease.

also if it's anything like mine you'll find the motor runs better/faster one way make sure this is forward, i had loads of problems until i accidently hit full reverse and down she went changed things round, and now no problems.

not in the least brand new kit/build maybe something to do with the speed controller not sure but it works now so i'm happy

Very odd. Have you got a controller that works at lower duty one way than the other?

 O0 Thanks for all your help, sub now dives as it says on the tin, I just got to lern how to drive it properly.

I may put a servo on the fore planes with a pitch controller. Any thoughts?

Use a pitch controller on the rear vanes. This coupled with front vane control will put your Seawolf in another league.

How have people coupled their front planes on the Seawolf?
Mine as (as usual) a real botched up affair with a Robart fitting...

Not another Ebay bargainion? What did this one cost or did you swap it for the speed boat? I think the sellers on Ebay have their "Martin Positioning Systems" (MPS) operating when you log on!

Built and sold that one over 10 years ago.....  :-)

I have got a pitch controller on board, sails & dives a treat with the foreplains fixed at neutral. :-))
when I have the time I will attach the foreplains to the aftplains servo.


i got it off ebay for £30 + £5 P&P

Really not a good idea to post folks email address on a public forum- bots pick 'em up and the recipient ends up with lots of SPAM.
