Title: Receiver voltage
Post by: Robs on November 14, 2009, 08:52:51 pm
Hi y'all, probably a silly question but can I use a 7.2v battery pack with a 6v receiver with BEC? I want to keep weight low and use the power battery for the motor to run the rx. Cheers, Rob

If your speed controller has a BEC and you use it the answer is yes.

Hi Robs.
If your receiver has a bec circuit built in theres no problem, if not as Dicky says you can use an esc with a bec built in. Alternatively you can use a separate bec circuit.
cheers Glenn
