Hi peter,
The kit is unbuilt, but it is in absolutly perfect condition. It cost me a shade under £300 and around 10 years to find one this good :-)) The kit is an absolute work of art, from the aluminium body panels, alloy wheels (5 of), carpeting for the interior and even a rubber toothed timing belt for the very highly detailed cosworth BDR engine, and a cast metal manifold and exhaust.
It will be sacralige to put paint or glue anywhere near it :-)
As for pictures, i can post as many as you want of it. Is there anything specific you would like to see or just the kit contents in general ?
cheers for now

Wishbones, various suspension parts and yes even a wheel key, the wheels are held on with four small nuts !
Carpeting, seatbelts, exhaust, manifold, various metal panels, windscreen and even a sheet of 2000 grade wet 'n' dry paper.

The small packet is the carbon fibre patterned fenders and nose panel, which is not to clear in the picture.

Do you know which one it is ? The one in the link martin posted is slightly different to the one i have, and then there`s the fluorescent green one.
As far as i know, the one i have (the cycle fender special) was never imported for sale in the UK, only asia and the states, Maybe thats why a perfect condition one commands the high price it does,
Let us know which it is when your back in the UK :-))
cheers for now

Beautiful models...all of them, but what a waste NOT to build the 7, why just keep it as a box of parts!

Oh it`s deffo geting built alright :-)) (soon) I need to clear my feet first. Theres a couple of my aircraft that i need to get sorted, then i want to do the HMS supply (maybe online) then i`ll do the super seven, hopefully the issue with the tamiya TS paint will be sorted by then.

Im pretty sure its the same as the one in your pictures as it has minilites and not the wheels shown in the link
Im not sure where it came from as it was a Christmas present in the late 1990's
-
Keep the kit and buy this to play with! :-)

I see what you mean, i never noticed the wheels before %%
If it is the same as my own, it`s worth 300 quid all day long ! They are extremely rare now, and almost impossible to get an untouched one.
-
Better still, buy a Mardave Caterham,it may be dearer, but they go well, and spare parts are cheap too.

It`s a different thing altogether though isn`t it ? I`m quite sure with a bit of lateral thinking it could be converted to R/C, i think the biggest headache would be finding somewhere for the battery, without compromising the detail.

My Perkins Skylift, aka the Chinook. Mine has a hi-viz flashing red led underneath the rear of the fuselage, and I've got night flying leds on order.

I noticed there is no facility to modify you posts on here, only answer replies with quotes. Has this been taken away ? i know i`ve only been on here for a wek or so, but i`m sure it was there then ?
-
Posts can only be modified up to half an hour after they have been posted, after that only a moderator can edit them.
I have also removed the previous post and don't expect to see similar language used again either actual or implied, that was unecessary and unacceptable for a family forum.

Shipmate60 is sending his spare cash to Portsmouth F.C. to help pay the wages, that's if they are still there. {-)

Ready to change that signature on the bottom of your postings Bob or is it an obituary. {:-{
-
Richard, you're being very unkind to poor Bob :o
Perhaps Manchester City or, heaven forbid, Roman Abramovich, could be persuaded to buy the Portsmouth FC - to use as ball boys at the City Stadium %) That should get Pompey out of financial trouble, and give their players something useful to do.
Sorry, Bob, I know that's not nice, but I couldn't help myself :embarrassed:
Peter.

Me unkind Peter, you should have seen the stick I was given when Southampton was relegated from the premiership. Payback time. <*< <*<
