What is the correct British flag for the Royal Navy Loyal class fleet tender? They were Navy auxiliaries as I understand it.
-
Red Ensign I would guess
-
It depends on which tender.
The RMAS Tenders (Buff and Black) had their own flag which was the RFA Blue Ensign defaced with 2 gold/yellow wavy lines under the anchor.
The RN Tenders flew the usual Red Ensign.

The LOYAL's with black hull and grey upperworks had the RNXS flag which is a blue ensign defaced with the splashing mine symbol.
The MANLY class were a white ensign
The tenders with black hull and yellow ochre upperworks had a blue ensign defaced with the RMAS anchor

I think BECC do all four!
