Title: Flag for Loyal Tender
Post by: CGAux26 on November 26, 2009, 06:36:06 pm: What is the correct British flag for the Royal Navy Loyal class fleet tender? They were Navy auxiliaries as I understand it.

The RMAS Tenders (Buff and Black) had their own flag which was the RFA Blue Ensign defaced with 2 gold/yellow wavy lines under the anchor.
The RN Tenders flew the usual Red Ensign.

The MANLY class were a white ensign
The tenders with black hull and yellow ochre upperworks had a blue ensign defaced with the RMAS anchor
