Title: Scarab type hull
Post by: Guy on December 23, 2009, 03:13:16 pm
Hi everyone, Im looking for a scarab race boat type hull, I would like something about 30-32 inch long as i have two outboards to put on it. I am currently running the outboards on an old 34inch huntsman hull i had laying about.

Im trying to make a boat like the Bay watch boats, long and pointy deep (ish) Vee hull.

Anyone got anything or know of a hull similar?

How about: http://www.howesmodels.co.uk/RadioControl/viewProduct.php?ProdID=3661

Only 27.5" though.

yeah perfect hull shape but too short and narrow for the outboards i have. shame its not 5-6 inches longer.

Might end up making a flat transom for the huntsman hull and trimming half inch or so off the top of the hull.
