Title: Hull shape of Britanna?
Post by: andrewh on December 30, 2009, 09:01:05 am
Hi, Knowledgble Mayhemmers

I have been quiet fro a while - hibernating, I guess

A Canadian friend wants a pond yacht based on Britannia (1893), so to help hmget it underway I am looking for ny kind of information about the hull shape, preferaby without buying a plan!
does anyone have, in a book  the lines of this beautiful yacht, or a cpy of the Amati plans That they would lend me?

I know that there is also a plan sold by MMI, but since I only want the shape of the frames this seems like poor value

TIA
andrew

Just an update!

Althought the thread has not been swamped;  the reputation for the knowledge helpfullness and sheer niceness of the Mayhem crew has been flooding in thru PMs and I have enough detailed information to make a treenail-exact replics of the beast.

Thank you all

Now if only I knew exactly what my Canadian china wanted it would be 9/10ths done!
