Title: lifeboat transom railings

Hi ,
can anyone tell me if there is an easier way to make transom railings as opposed to to the way in the plans , and is it possible to make the top railing in aoner complete top railing side back and side .

Hi richard its only me waffling with my begginers brain, its the transom on the trent I bought, takenote of my new addy it is [email protected].
while on can you tell me where to get some alumium rod for the railings as all the hobby shops round my way do not stock it

richard just in case u have forgot you can see damage to railings on mayhem under lifeboat wanted.

Are you sure its aluminium you want and not brass ?

richard, yes it is the rod that came with the kit from slipways and it is aluminium.
