Hi. I recently purchased a 3.5" horizontal boiler from maccsteam. I really like the way it looks in bare copper and brass.
My question is do you guys do any regular cleaning of your boilers? in the way of steaming up once in a while with a little white vinegar to clean the insides?
thanks

I use vinegar for cleaning my boilers, but not on a regular basis. Just if scale builds up inside, which is seldom, as I only use distilled water nowadays.

ok, I only use distilled water. Is there any precautions to cleaning copper boilers with vinegar & water solutions?

Not that I know of. Provided, of course, you don't leave the vinegar in the boiler too long. I keep it 2-3 minutes.

perfect thank you !
