don't know if this belongs here. scratchbuilding a 1:350 papercard cvan-65 when she was at the CUBAN MISSLE BLOCKADE. so far it looks o.k. any comments good or bad. Yes it certainly is looking good. What company makes this ? What is the OAL (length)?

That looks good to me...1/350th scale, same as the Tamiya one, comes out at just over a metre in length.

this is a scratchbuild papercard,cardboard model. no company makes this time line. this is the same length as the Tamiya. i'll post photos of the island tomorrow. Thanks for the comments.

Wow, nice scratch build mate! Impressive work! Out of curiosity why are you building this model and why this period? Is this the same USS Enterprise form the movie "The Final Countdown"? That is one of my favourite movies.. O0

Yeah the give away was the line in the film where the fighter jets fly over Pearl (or somewhere) and one of the 1940's senators says 'What the hell? Since when has the navy launched a vessel named after a serving Admiral(?) Chester Nimitz?'
