Title: Tug Towing at Kirklees
Post by: Bunkerbarge on April 16, 2010, 09:31:10 am
Well the guys at Kirklees have not be taking it easy over the Winter months as these couple of shots of the club tanker testify.  The tow has been completely refurbished and now actually has some realistic ballast of 250 lbs of water so behaves much more realistically.  This Sunday a course is going to be laid out and a trial tug towing day is going to be tested out.

All credit to the lads for getting this up and running which will hopefully lead to a calendar of future tug towing events and you never know, after a bit of practise, we may even feel brave enough to take on Poll and his team!

Excellent BB.

This weekend we want to see photos of the tugs hauling the ice-cream van around!
