Your scale model is as close to life like as humanly possible Bernhard...Stunning detail & workmanship... :-)) :-))
-
Look at the hat. It too is weathered - just like you would expect a white hat to become on a steam launch. Amazing detail.
-
I always find Bernards models inspiring and something for myself to aim for in my own models. Detail such as this makes a model so realistic and gives it a life of it's own and I can enjoy simply looking at them and soaking up every little bit.
-
It's all the little details- did anyone else notice the little scale manual bilge pump on the port side?!?!? :o

Very nice! Why did you need a new lubricator?
-
Bernard,
I'm sure this has been asked previously but where do you find / purchase the items like the wrenches, mini cans and all the small detail items?

Tom

Fascinating .... I am thrilled by the love of detail

I dressed up my little man 1/6 scale & was amazed at the cost of some of the items. Socks £5, Overalls £15, Sweater £8... About what I pay for my clothes :o
-
Bernhard, please show us the little man.
And I love your beautifully mucky boat. I can smell the bilge from here. This sort of detail is rarely seen outside model railways of the highest standards.
Lovely pictures, too, but I would love to see the 1/6th scale man who keeps his boat so dirty!
