Title: Can anyone help
Post by: helmsman on January 13, 2007, 10:30:16 pm
I have been given a set of 2ch FUTABA 27m radio gear. The problem is that someone has cut the receiver aerial and i do not know what the true length of it is. The set is called "BIONIC GOLD". The "Tx" is the "FP-T2NCR" and the "Rx" is the "FP-R102GR". Can any one help.

Hi, go for 30 inches, its not that critical.

Roy is right. Around 30 inches or 76cm should be fine for 27meg boat use.

TIP :-

Before I cut down a receiver aerial I measure the length and mark it on the back of the receiver body.

Then, if I want to use the rx in another model I know what the full length of the aerial should be.
