Hi, I am looking to find plans for a Denny stream gunboat. (trying to rekindle my Dad's interest in a long stalled project). Where is the best place to start? The NMM? Your thoughts will be gratefully recieved.
Kind regards,
Stu

Model Boats used to feature a Denny Steam Gunboat plan. It is likely to be available from them or possibly from the X Plans site http://www.xlistplans.demon.co.uk/
The plan was to 1:48th scale giving a length of 36 inches in old money (beam 5.75 inches). Plan ref was MM/946
The plan was given a 4 star rating which suggests that it is fairly detailed but with little constructional advice. The description of the plan is hull external detail and lines only.

Do you need hull lines or are you using a GRP hull?
I have a set of plans with loads of John Lambert Weapons and fittings plans, plus some additional research on them.
Check out the For Sale Section for some pics of her.
She is the Fleetscale hull.

Hi Stu
Would it make a difference to your Dad's interest in the project if he knew Grey Goose was still very much alive?
Regards,
Christian.
