Ive decided to "try" and build a springer/pusher tug. Went into my garden shed to look for some
wood to work with, no scrap wood long or wide enough, but spotted remnant of white surplus
"SOFIT" material Id kept on one side just in case I might need it at a later date(kids call me a skip rat)
measured it up and "hey presto" got two sides and stern/bow bits out of it. Easy to work with lighter than wood,cuts like a dream with a sharp Stanley knife. Haven't sorted out what to stick it together with (don't want use screws)
Possibly use White sealant "got some in my gun". The hull is pond legal used Martins plans;----

sealant? as in silicon bath sealant? i dont think thats going to hold it together try super glue or expoy!

Is it a foamed "Styrene", if so, plumbers solvent or cement for glueing plastic pipes.
