Hi Guys,
Has any one got any ideas on how to fill in gaps on brasswork with out soldering? I.E is there a decent filler and not P38 as I know this is had to get smooth on metal work without damaging the details on the brss.
Any suggestions or help much appreciated.

brazing will be a close match on colour , will still require heating up though ! how thick is the brass ?

You could try Cyno Acrilate, super glue, mixed with Micro Balloons and set off with an accelerator such as Zap Kicker. You can build up layers and it can be worked with sand paper or a Dremel.
Beware of the fumes though, do it out side or in a well vented area. Cyno sticks very well to brass.

Thanks for the reply guys, the items in question are the turrets on the (dreaded name) Hatchette Bismarck, I am not at home at present so can not show any pics.
