I was going through the web and I saw it( I KNOW I did!) a red fiberglass (FRP) springer hull. As the waters here are sometimes very shallow and never clear. it seems logical to use a hull which will bounce off a rock rather than cave in. I have spent most of Saturday looking and cannot find it {:-{
And as to my post about the torpedo boat the date is 1873 and it worked! they would carry a bunch of them on a ship and launch them one at a time, Then re-coal then and they all would go after the enemies capitol ship at once like mosquitoes!
I sure wish there was a r/c boater in Boise, but the hobby shop knows of none.
Now that I am in Boise I am to build boats for fresh water, And I may attempt a submarine , They do not work in salt water (the radio waves do not penetrate)

Thanks guys!
Red is of no importance to me it was just the description.
I just realized that I DON"T have to follow the specs. As far as I can determine there's 0 boaters here beside me! ( I think Portland is the closest, And it is a half day drive)
Thanks again!

There are all these lakes that are usable by model boaters in your 'area'..

There is also a model boat club in Spokane that organizes the Tidewater cup each year..
Have a word with 'Foo' on RC Groups, I think he is in Idaho and might be able to point you in the direction of some fellow boaters..

The Models By Design hull is excellent quality, I'm building a springer using one at the moment.They can supply the pushers cast in resin too and they're a perfect fit. See my thread 'My first springer/pusher'. Drop Andy an email, am sure he'd be pleased to help [email protected] Would think postage would be quite reasonable too, regards, Dave... :-)) :-)) :-))
