Title: Brushless Touchwood K7
Post by: ooyah/2 on September 23, 2010, 09:40:26 pm
Hi
This is my first venture into fast electric, the hull and sponsons were all that was bought from Touchwood and built up according to Ernie's set up on ASTEC MODELS web, the only difference that Ernies K7 was 1/24 scale and this one is 1/12 scale so I doubled up on his mods.
Motor 2700 kv water cooled and water cooled 60 amp  E.S.C bought from Prestwitch Models---battery Sub "C"  7 cell x 3700 and graupner carbon hydro prop 36 mm.
All up weight 1.89 kg top speed 35 mph.
Spent all afternoon signing up to You-Tube and eventually posted video ( brushless bluebird ) it's not too bad as the weather was dull and windy but hope to get another video when the sun shines and the wind dies down.
