Title: HMS Warspite

hi ive just purchased a hull and plans forhms warspite 1/128 scale 60 inches long with a nine inch beam i wonder if anyone has any info for best motors to use on the 4 propshafts size of props etc. also any info on the actual vessel would be great thanks scott. heres a few pics

It will depend if you are going to run her on scale props.

We would recommend a 555 on 12v on each shaft regardless of the props used. Plenty of torque at scale speed, low amps.

Warspite had a long distinguished career spanning both wars, and was much modified between the wars.

What stage of her career are you going for?

Looking forward to watching this build, Warspite is one of my favorite ships.

There are three main periods - WW1, without the torpedo bulges, so that's out (and she's perhaps a bit "empty" and "functional" during that period), the Jazz-Age-Refit <tm> with the trunked funnels and looks to die for, and then the famous - but maybe done too many times - WWII layout with the block o' flats bridgework.

I know which I'd go for!  :-))
