The new Queen Elizabeth is actually not Cunard's flagship, that honour belongs to Queen Mary 2. Nevertheless, I will be keeping an eye out for the program you mention. There are some excellent videos about QE on the Cunard web site, including her naming ceremony.

Peter

Please accept my apologies for that error. I wrote what the Radio Times stated instead of writing the facts.
An excellent Australian series, The Liners, was produced some years ago which I bought on DVD from the local bargain store recently. The vessel in the series which interested the most was the Newcastle Bay paddle steamer 'William the Fourth'. I believe she is now undergoing restoration and conversion to diesel.

No apology necessary, Tony, it just goes to show that you can't believe everything you see in the media   {-)

The new Queen Elizabeth is due in Australia in early 2012.
