Sorry not sure where to post this question
I have a drawing that shows a side profile and deck profile is it possible to draw a set of bulkhead drawings from these and if so how
-
They will give you beam at deck level, depth of hull, and angle of bow and stern, but you will have to guess at bow flare and vertical taper of bulkheads. You need to divide the hull into sections and plot the deck width and depth of each section. This will give you 3 points to join up, then you'd need to guess at the hull side profiles. You also need to find some way of holding the bulkheads verticall y in line - probably by cutting a keel profile and slotting the bulkheads into it. You could certainly build a model, basing the unknown bits on plans of similar vessels, but it would almost certainly not be a true scale model. If this bothers you, don't build it. If however she is a pretty or interesting ship go for it - you can't be too far out, especially if she is a displacement craft. And if in the end some rivet counter says "that's nothing like the HMS whatever", you say "that's ok - HMS whatever looks nothing like this".
Damn the torpedoes!

Someone on the forum might have drawings, so please name the vessel or look it up on search facility.

brianB6 you have caught me out,the project im working on is actually Bluebird CN7 the LSR jet powered car .There are no drawings available to build her so will have to draw my own plans,on the upside i have built quite a number of model boats and at one time was a member of Kirklees model boat club.
So please dont shoot me down in flames as joining this forum has re-kindled the model boat flame

The process is the same, wether car or boat, as Tobyker has outlined. Using the profiles you have and photos you should be able to produce reasonably accurate sections with a little trial and error

Whats the betting that the original started with a plan and elevation from which a clay mock up was built, reshaped until it looked right, and the lines taken from that?
-
Try developing the profiles in Delftship, then you can get the shape you want before cutting anything.
There is a tutorial here:

Gents...if we go back a little further in history we find that the Vikings used full sized lofting rooms in their boat building facilities..... O0...
Whilst land based classic Roman architecture was such....I am not aware of similar applications with their water based designs........ :D ....Derek

If you can find a plan with all three elevations (add end elevation) you can construct all of your profiles..
Alternatively, you can look for a plastic/metal model, and take of measurements with dividers before re-scaling, or cut the model into slices.
A few on ebay.
I have a vague feeling Airfix did one.

or use it as a good excuse to have a Holiday in the New Forrest and visit the real thing :}
