Hi Folks, aged and wrinkly ex matelot just joined the system. Considering building 1/72 or 1/96 scale  Gun Leander and possibly a second Exocet Leander.( Danae and Cleopatra).   Any views on hull availability, as I would like to make them working models,  also fittings as I gather Sirmar are no more. Living down in West Cornwall so it's not a short trip to get hold of bits and pieces, although e commerce does have it's advantages. Built a semi kit of a Ton class sweeper and now got the bug,  hope to survive.

Hi "Pony",

try to go 1:72 scale if you can and keep all upper deck superstructure and fittings a light as you possibly can.

DickyD's link to Fleetscale is a good 'un, they produce excellent hulls. :-))
