Title: 1:48 and 1:72 US Navy armaments

Hi,

Are there any manfacturers that sell the twin 40mm mount and its assocated Mk 51 director, or the single 5 inch (Mk 30) turret in these scales?

For 1:72 scale, try APS models and Southern Cross Models in Oz...

Sandy,

HR Products (http://www.hrprod.com/) has the 40mm twin and its director listed in both 1/48 and 1/72 scales (s48-11 and s72-2 for the gun mount, respectively). The mk.51 directors are s48-29 and s72-3.

I would email them as to availability and lead times first. I have already done so for an upcoming 1/72 project of my own.

thanks    i have noted that but if some where has good bits i'm willing to pay a bit more for currency change and postage
