Title: Spares Required
Post by: Mr Andy on February 15, 2011, 09:49:13 pm: I've just been given a model of torpedo boat PT-109, however it is in need of part's, like the last owner I know nothing of the boat in relation to age or maker, as you'll see it's a lovely thing, so anyone know of a sourse of spares I'd be very gratefull.

If it is the Lindberg model I am sure this no longer made and if I recollect it was a very strange scale also. Most of the deck fittings on this model are very similar to Lindberg 109 model.

If Spares are available and the exchange rate being so low it would be better to buy the Italeri P T Boat a far better kit with up to date moulding technology. I understand Italeri have taken this kit out of prodution also. The scale of the Dumas P T 109 is 1/30

on twin shafts ppwered mine with twin 400 brushed motors. went very well. regards.
