Title: Noob here. Anyone identify this tug?

Built originally by my brother circa 1980, then chucked in a cupboard in the loft - never seen water.

It was definitely a kit -  very simple one, as some of the panels have numbers under the paint.

I'm currently rebuilding it - and getting it straight (bro was about 8 when he built it originally), using the guts from a New Bright (ugh) porsche that i've been given.

Any help appreciated.

Looks like it might be one of the old Veron Titan tug kits.

From googling that, it appears you are correct - thanks.

That'll make it well over the 31 years old that I thought it was? Jeez!

Maybe i'd better period-restore it? There's still a single channel radio in the same cupboard.....
